Over the past few years, Sustainability has taken over the agenda of major organisations and is a hot topic across all industries. We want to celebrate the ground-breaking work the property industry is doing to implement sustainable initiatives and improve society for years to come.

Criteria

Renovation / Redevelopment / Repurpose

Project of the Year

Overview
This award recognises the organisation with the best completed Renovation / Redevelopment / Repurpose project of the year. We are looking for innovative, impactful and substantial projects, within the past 12 months across the sector. This can include office blocks, service centres, airport terminal buildings, among other buildings. Judges will be looking for the highest standard of work, adherence to budget and client satisfaction in a healthy and safe working environment.
Criteria

Please give a description of the renovation/redevelopment project that the organisation has completed over the past 12 months. Please include as much detail as possible to inform the judging panel. (500 words)
Explain how the project was unique or significant – if possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry.
Describe your biggest challenge the organisation faced from the renovation/redevelopment project and how you solved it:  (500 words)

Lifetime Achievement Award (Judges Choice)

Overview

This award recognises the initiative or project within the property industry in Ireland that can best demonstrate a significant contribution to the welfare of the local community through an effective social impact initiative or programme. Initiatives may include, but are not limited to, community projects, fund raising, sponsorship, work placement schemes or encouraging the active involvement of the community in local initiatives.

Outstanding Property Leader

(Judges Choice/Public Vote)

Overview

This award will be a judges choice aware, however companies and industry professionals are encouraged to put forward names for the award. There will not be a shortlist for this category. The winner of the award will go to the leader the Judges feel has successfully stood out over their career. An exceptional figure in the industry, they will have achieved at the highest level and shown qualities of outstanding skill, judgement and professional expertise, while supporting the next generation of leaders in the industry

Judges are looking for outstanding individuals and role models who have a proven track record of success, are doing remarkable work and making a difference in the industry. From changing perceptions, implementing new technologies, building a vibrant business, the winner of this award will already be standing out from the crowd. Finalists in this category will be able to demonstrate passion, dedication and determination through their own style of leadership.

Social Impact of the Year

Overview

This award recognises the initiative or project within the property industry in Ireland that can best demonstrate a significant contribution to the welfare of the local community through an effective social impact initiative or programme. Initiatives may include, but are not limited to, community projects, fund raising, sponsorship, work placement schemes or encouraging the active involvement of the community in local initiatives.

Criteria

  • Please outline any challenges that were faced, how they were overcome, and the successes achieved. What lessons were learned?
  • Describe how the stakeholders were brought together to successfully deliver this project (500 words maximum)

          Building Contractor of the year

          Overview

          Are you the top Building Contractor in Ireland? Have you been leading the pack for many years with large scale builds or unique projects? Well then it’s time to promote those projects and builds to the industry.

          Criteria
          • Give a brief Description of the company (500 words) include portfolio, brief financial performance, employee numbers etc. 
          • Please give a description of any key projects, initiatives or innovation that the organisation has implemented over the past 12 months. Please include what you did and how the end result was achieved, including the impact to your organisation and your client. 500 words maximum.
          • What is the company’s key differentiator among competitors? –  this could include technology initiatives, employee wellness, improvements in the workplace environment, H&S record,diversity and inclusion etc. 
          • How has the company innovated over the last 12 months? – This can include ESG innovation, placemaking, regeneration and other initiatives etc

                Developer of the Year

                Overview

                Are you the standout developer of the past year? Have you developed landmark schemes, pulled off ground-breaking deals, embarked on innovative joint ventures or pioneered new ideas that have changed the face of property development in Ireland? Then let us hear from you, explain why you think you should be considered for developer of the year.

                Criteria
                • Detail your portfolio’s innovation through the incorporation of sustainability, technology, building wellness and resiliency as they apply to development and building operations. Judges take into consideration the size and diversity of a nominee’s portfolio.
                • Detail your company’s adaptability and success navigating economic, community impact, demographic or environmental conditions (pick as many as required – max 500 words per category)
                • Detail your company’s charitable and philanthropic activities within your market.

                  Marketing Team of the Year

                  Overview

                  Do you have a dedicated marketing team which has delivered ground-breaking initiatives, strategies, or marketing campaigns? Then we want to celebrate them. This category is open to all in house marketing teams and will give them an opportunity to show the industry what they have accomplished over the last year. 

                  Criteria
                  • Give a brief summary of the nominated teams achievement over the past 12 months (outline the amount in the team, what the target market is, and general information about the team)
                  • Outline the team achievements in the previous 12 month that you wish to bring to the judging panel’s attention – this can include specific projects or campaigns ran by the team. 
                  • Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant? (give as much details as possible which can include how the team leveraged new technology, creating new ways of using existing technology or implementing an overall approach that was innovative)
                  • Describe the biggest challenges the team has faced in this project/campaign and how they overcame them?
                  • Explain how you have measured the effectiveness of marketing activities or increased brand awareness within the market?

                    Placemaking Initiative of the Year

                    Overview

                    This category aims to celebrate the best mixed-use development scheme that has regenerated or physically improved the built environment on and around a particular site, disused building or location. Community benefit will be one of the key drivers for this award.

                                  Property Management Company of the Year

                                  Overview

                                  Are you an outstanding property management company? Are you delivering exceptional projects for your clients? Then this award will be for you, it recognises the most outstanding Property Management Company over the past 12 months. This award is open to any organisation offering property management services in the Commercial and/or Residential sectors.

                                  Criteria
                                  • Describe your organisation. Please provide the background to your organisation, the services you provide, when was it established and any key specific metrics you would like to highlight (500 words)
                                  • Describe the last 12 months for the organisation and how you have innovated and excelled. Highlight any outstanding achievements and highlights from the year – can include how you leveraged new technology, creating new ways of using existing technology or implementing an overall approach that is innovative in the context of the organisation.                                   Proptech Award of the Year

                                  Overview

                                  The Proptech Award’s aim is to highlight property organisations that are proactively using technology to disrupt the property sector. This can be in the form of cutting-edge technology or unique innovation but overall it is about using technology to be creative and distributive in the industry. Innovation/disruption is the key to this award

                                  Irish Estate Agency of the Year

                                  Overview

                                  This category is aimed at any irish agencies providing leasing, sales and acquisition advice, development strategy and professional services to the property sector. Entries should include as much information as possible relating to the number of transactions, area of space transacted, transactional information and client testimonials as possible.

                                  Criteria
                                  • Give a brief Description of the Agency (Number of staff and number of licensed agents, core work and catchment area) 500 words  
                                  • Please detail key deals you have done over the past 12 months and outline why they are significant.

This company consistently achieves above benchmark performance and sets the tone for innovation and industry practice including ESG integration

                                          Commercial Fit Out of the Year

                                          Overview

                                          This award recognises the outstanding commercial fit out project that was completed within the past 12 months. This can include Offices, Retail – retail stores, shopping centres, shops; Industrial – warehouses, factories; Leisure – hotels, pubs, restaurants, cafes, sport facilities or Healthcare – medical centres, hospitals, nursing homes.

The winner of this award will be someone the industry should look out for as they will change the industry for the better.                                               Buyer’s Agent of the Year

                                              Overview

                                              This category is aimed at promoting the increasing impact Buyer’s Agents have on the property sector. As a licensed real estate professional buyers agents can give invaluable advise to their clients and ensure they exhaust every effort to find properties and negotiate on behalf of clients. Entries should include as much information as possible relating to the how they have supported their clients and any noticeable transactions they have completed. Both exclusive and dual agents are welcome to enter this category.

                                              Social Housing Development of the Year

                                              Overview

                                              Social housing has been one of the major topics within Irish Media and Irish life over the past 10 years. We want to highlight and celebrate the social housing projects and initiatives the industry is involved in. We are looking for an organisation who have implemented or finished social housing developments in the last year which will have a positive impact on the supply of social housing in the Irish Market.
